My attempt at a Poem thingy

manDArin | 30 May 2005, 10:55pm

I feel invisible
to the people who wanna see me.
I feel invisible
to the people who don't.
I feel invisible
to the world that doesn't care.
I feel invisible
to the part that does.
I feel invisible
and it hurts.
I feel invisible
and I wonder if I am.
I feel invisible
and I realize I'm not.
But at the end of it all, I hope I become Invisible.

YEAH! Then I could do cool stuff...like sneak and all. Yay! I would be so powerful I could take over the world. Muahahahaha!!! I could steal, cheat, maim, do cool stuff. Whoa! I'd be SO rich, so rich, I'd be the KING OF THE WORLD!!!!!

(And you thought I was going somewhere with this post)

Stayin Alive!

manDArin | 15 May 2005, 10:20pm

Inspite of the heat.

Now I know why the Bee Gees sounded like that...maybe they were singing in India (read Hyderabad) while recording the song.

Damn the...43c and going up, up and away...Toast...is how I feel, apart from being sick...feeling head-aches...smelling paint everyday (a completely different story) Now if you've all read my previous post you'll know that me no good at poems or anything that sounds like poetry...so make song about HEAT and its effects and report to me if you can. I so wanna sing something like that to myself.

Yeah, and also, somebody take me away where there's no hot air. Pliz.

P.S: Thats my life fer ya folks! Zilch.

"Holler!!!" to the Hols

manDArin | 7 May 2005, 6:55pm

Friggin. Hols at last. But I do have some 3 exams in the space of a week. Should be easy as cake. Hehe...Should be? Well, its just me assuring myself that the worst is over, even though "The Worst" is always lurking around.

Now all these days I've been trying to tell myself that I'm gonna enjoy myself to the core (hehe...the CORE..imagining Homer Simpson saying.."mmm...CORE!!!") and move around after hols begin. And now all I wanna do is sit around at home and do nothing. Funny how the mind reacts to comfort...you just don't wanna do anything. Or is it the heart?

I so wanna write a poem about Holidays. Pchh..but then I'm not a poet, nor am I Homer Simpson, or Eric Cartman for that matter. How do people write poems or poetry? And just off the top of their heads? Its weird...I mean, imagine someone just being able to write some special words which sound good and are in context *click* just like that. SCARY.

Anyway, now that I'm feeling extraordinarily mediocre, and trying to put together words from the strings of my heart, and going on trying, only to find that Confusion overcame Clarity on the last lap of their race to reach my mind...I'M JUST GONNA HAVE A BALL! and not worry about writing stuff I'm not good at.

(I'm not sure whether you understood that but I think I just wrote a...WOW!)

Edit: In retrospect, that sucked..

Back Up! Back Down!

manDArin | 18 April 2005, 1:12am

"I have not lost my mind - it's backed up on a disk somewhere." - Unknown

Yeah. Precisely what I want. My mind to be backed up just like all the files are before formatting the hard drive. Sheesh. I wasted almost 1 1/2 days working on the comp...Backing up (Believe me, loads of Backing up!!!), Formatting, Installing and then putting everything in fine, working order. Yup, so my PC is fine now. But its my head that is hanging up. Pchh.

Mind Blogging. Ming Boggling. Whatever.

manDArin | 4 April 2005, 10:52pm

#Why can't these friggin' site maintenance people maintain stuff so that it doesn't come in my way? I've retyped everything btw. The ones after this. Pchh. Pchh only.

#I keep thinking, if everyone in this world got what they wished for, and there were limitless resources on this planet to help support their dreams, wouldn't everyone be rockstars? Uh.

#Terry Schiavo. The Pope. The Feeding Tube. One, an ordinary woman at the center of a national debate, who had to choose between life and death in unavoidable circumstances. The other, a champion of a religion, and holy to the masses, was too weak to choose, and too great to make a debatable one, was duly fitted with one to help prolong his life. People standing around at a hospital in the US fighting over what happened was right, or was it mercy - murder by the person she loved? People thronging the Vatican, and people praying aound the world, to pray for a man to help him live longer. Both leave legacies for humanity to follow. One, that we have reached a stage in evolution where we can make choices affecting us and the people around without caring about the aftermath. The other, in a completely different context, leaves a legacy of peace, love and harmony between the people of the world.

We are left to follow the paths of these individuals. But our own selfishness, pride and ego cloud us from doing that. Isn't it strange then, that we have OPINIONS about these people, what they did, what they chose, and what they lived for? Take the case of Schiavo. Thousands of people thronging and debating about what she did was right. But will they have the courage of her or her family in those kinds of times? Isn't it strange?

May their souls rest in peace.

Creative? Who? What? Where?

manDArin | 26 March 2005, 10:48pm

fullhyd.com Blogs - Where you find the most 'creative' minds of Hyderabad! Yeah right! What creative??

I mean, look at &^&@#, writing poems, which are not poems, and then writing poems about those poems,
I mean, look at **(&(^&(&, writing about the traffic in Hyderabad,
I mean, look at ^*%%^%, writing about how cool or uncool their life is,
I mean, look at ^%^%^*, writing some romantic fictional account of some person, "and there he went, into the darkness", "and so, she was heart-broken again", shit like that.
I mean, look at &^&^&, writing about his/her school days and what they did then. (SUCKS!)
I mean, look at me.

Full, one big creative bunch only we all are! Bow down, o stupid non-creative mortals of Hyderabad!!! Bow down to all of us Fullhydbadis!! We rock! You suck!

Keane Speak

manDArin | 12 March 2005, 12:13am

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?

'Somewhere only we know' by Keane.

I ain't getting old and I certainly ain't gettin tired, but felt like putting this up here. Wonderful Lyrics.

Ode to O2

manDArin | 7 March 2005, 9:00pm

Oxygen to me is relief, Oxygen to me is belief, Oxygen to me is that which sustains us here, Oxygen to me is what helps us understand our being here, Oxygen to me is God, Oxygen to me is what keeps me alive.

Oxygen to me is a bottle of cold water after a hot day (in Hyderabad :))...

Oxygen to me is a full meal when I'm completely famished...

Oxygen to me is finding out that I'm alive (and my vehicle's not trash) after an accident on a busy road...

Oxygen to me is finding out that I actually did not flunk the paper I had no hopes on...

Oxygen to me is the little blue SIFY screen that pops up and says, "You are now logged on and connected to the Internet!" (Actually thats the gist of what it says)

The reason why I've started this shit? That's because I've been deprived of the net for 2 days only because the idiot ISP did not renew my broadband account. I couldn't even go outside because he kept tempting me with phone calls which ended with "It'll be back in 1/2 hour sure!!"..."Just wait for another hour!"..."One more hour sir!"..."Line problem! Tomorrow pakka sir!"...and other stuff.

And today at 8:03 PM, it has happened, the blue screen popped up, and I felt alive.

Oxygen to me is the Internet...

Oxygen to me is my love for the WWW...

Oxygen is............Love???

Not bad at all

manDArin | 5 March 2005, 9:00am

"Convention of the swanky eclectic" screamed the invite.

"Be there even if you are not happy or gay". I seriously do not know who put in this line.

"The runtime environment is T2"

I'm talking bout our fresher's.

Not bad, actually. I actually began thinking there couldn't have been a more boring experience in my life until the afternoon when the DJ began playing. I was wrong. The DJ was God. We all had to bow before him. Dance to my songs, or die, you mortals! And no, none of your stupid wacked up demented REQUESTS!!!

The food was good though.

This is actually a very boring post, ain't it? Just did this so that my page would be on top of recently updated and I'd get more hits. Hehe.

So, the party. Nothing spicy to talk about. Nothing hot. NOBODY really hot. No one proposed to me. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Gotta go write my assignments. I have a quite a boring life. Not bad.

In Retrospective

manDArin | 3 March 2005, 11:59pm

Some person said this sometime..."By the time I realized my Dad was right, my son was too old to listen to me". Touching.

Well, maybe parents are right most of (or...*takes a deep breath*...*silence*) ALL OF the time.

Phew! But why oh why do they have to be!
Im a person, a human being, a mortal who has experienced living 18 years...I know what's happening around me. I'm right sometimes too. Ain't I? Er...

Just had to get this out of my mind.

P.S: I hate writing assignments when I can put my feet up and relax. I hate writing assignments. I hate writing. I hate. I.
